Chris Paul's Historic Night vs The Golden State Warriors

##CP3##NBASTEVEJOBS####THINK##

In terms of his basketball IQ CP3 would be basketball’s equivalent of a Rhodes Scholar. He’s the prototypical “point god (sic)!”  He really has no flaws except that he hasn’t won anything of note and has only lead his team out of the first round twice in his otherwise illustrious NBA career. The question is what is it going to take for him to get to the NBA Finals? The Clippers restructured their team this year and bring in one of the game’s best coaches in Doc Rivers who is from my hometown. However, already I’m seeing some flaws in the Clippers team and that’s their defensive liabilities. CP3 has to do too much. It’s no problem for him to destroy the competition from an offensive standpoint in the regular season but come playoff time Blake and DeAndre are going to have to shine in the big moments and not rely on CP3 to score 30 or 40 points which he can do with relatively ease. But for now let’s marvel in his regular season play as he becomes only the second active NBA player to record a 40 point and 15 assist game! That’s almost comical from a stat standpoint! CP3 might be the NBA’s most cerebral player!
