Ricky Rubio with the Triple-Double against the Lakeshow!

##SLICK RICKY##

Rubio may or may not ever lead the NBA in assists but one can make an argument that  few if anyone has better court vision than this kid no disrespect to Lebron, CP3, Wall or Rondo. You combine his defensive intensity, ability to handle the ball,  his speed and appetite for the spectacular and  he has the essential ingredients to really be special if he ever develops a consistent jumper. In reality, Rajon  Rondo hasn't thus far  developed a dependable jump shot or and  he is an  NBA champions and amongst the best at his craft so if Rubio keeps playing more efficient  like this the T-Wolves will challenge for a playoff spot because he simply makes the game so much easier for Love and company.  Rubio (a former child prodigy) is  really starting to blossom into a fine young NBA point guard. Many people who watched this skinny 10th grader throw those "Magic" Johnson-esque passes in the Euroleague could clearly see he always has had this type of ability. The fact that he was a professional at age 16 was testament enough to his talent and I'm  especially happy to see he's fully recovered from his ACL injury. I don't know if he will ever live up to the Pistol Pete comparisons because in my opinion they are two completely different players with different styles but I'm sure young Spaniard kids (especially the guards) are now seeing their dreams of one day making it to the NBA become more plausible thanks to Rubio who is their version of "Pistola Pete!"
